Japan!!

So..I am a little behind. We are in Japan. It was a long process..in a short couple of weeks for us to get here. All of the first week is kind of blurry...but we got through and we actually are in a house on base waiting for our HHG to arrive in beginning of July. Yes..it takes forever. Keegan,Cobb and I said goodbye to Ronnie last week. This is our first real deployment together(rrrr,apart?). It is going to be tough.Keegan has asked where he is a lot..and then he tells himself work. At least we do get to talk to him on the phone. Keegan even holds the phone and says yes..and no..and tells him about his trains and cobb.It is so sweet.

We are hoping to see a lot to keep us busy while Ronnie is gone.First we have Keegan's birthday soon..and Sally is visiting!! Then we have GUAM!!! Yay! We will meet dad and Kathy out there!They have a much longer flight than we do...but I am not looking forward to getting to the airport.It will all be worth it when i can get on the beach!

The Det 5 girls are wonderful and have made me feel so welcome..and it does help that they are some southern ladies! It is also so nice to already know some friends from before here! I guess I got pretty lucky there.

We have started potty training..so this will be interesting. Loves n Hugs

You've probably read somewhere that I cut keg's hair..and it was a little disaster..I wanted to buzz it short..and it wound up being too short.. ha ha ha..laugh it up. I got it fixed. Enjoy!

Boat Time

It is almost time for us to find out where we are headed to next! Ronnie is out at the boat as i type..and Keegan and I are waiting until he comes home to tell us! ;) While we have been waiting,(because he also left for jacksonville almost 3 weeks ago)..we went to see family. My Greatgrandmother passed away..and though it was a loss..it was also nice to know she is in God's hands now and not suffering anymore.

We went to TN and then Ga.. and then also took a little 4 1/2 hr trip to jacksonville to see ronnie last weekend. We also got to see Uncle B and Aunt Angela..that was our first trip to see them at their house.It was also Keegan's first trip to FL. It was very short..so i assume he and I will just have to go back one day..hehe.

Time seems to be flying by with keegan keeping me busy..he seems to be talking more and more.He has never really been the quiet type..but he just came to me last night and said..while pointing to his bowl..all gone,want more..--starting to put more and more little sentences together! He is getting so big on me! Tear!!!

I'm glad to be back home though..and Cobb missed us..we left him with a good friend this time..and it was kinda nice without him..ssshhh...hah.We missed him of course though(distance makes the heart grow fonder ..right?lol). It didn't take Keegan and Cobb 2 seconds to start running crazy again. The next day Keegan busted his head on the door frame while chasing cobb..its and ugly bruise and cut..and he pointed to cob when it happened.I am afraid that will come in handy for him later on..hah. But i believe him this time..as this isn't the first time cobb accidentally bumped him into the door frame(rewind to 9months)..but he is fine. Also..Just that afternoon..he slipped at the park and hit his teeth on bars..bled a lot..bruised his gums..ooo goodness..little boys..

Well..that has been whats going on..We are just waiting..(not unusual..ha)--lovs

Aquarium

We went for a little trip to the aquarium today.Keegan still loves fish..and now he is into the turtles and alligators. We also both touch some sting ray ...i wish i could have had a video of that for you, but that would have ended in disaster i'm sure. He got so excited that people had their hands in the water to touch them..he didn't seem scared at all..he touched two, and i touched one..he was super excited about it! We also touched some horseshoe crabs and i touched some other little crab that was kinda creepy looking..and keegan didn't want anything to do with that!haha. But i was so proud of him,,he said no at first to the horseshoe crab, and after i did it..he finally agreed! That was the best part for him. He is a big handful running around a place like that..i got wise and didn't even bring the stroller in. He enjoyed the fish the most,and a few snakes..but his attention races from one thing to the next.. I tried to take some videos, and my new flip i got for christmas is awesome, except i noticed after looking at them at home, i'm a little shaky..ha. Hope you enjoy though!

Singer,Wing-eater,and Valet!

Hey! Keegan and I dropped Ronnie off at the airport at noon..and he will be in Cali for over a week.. I am hoping we get to go to the aquarium and do other fun things. For now I have some videos of us.. We all went to Buffalo Wild Wings last night and Keegan likes to sing in rock band..and also he was using the printer as a garage for his cars..a lot of things are being used for his cars..they've made their way into many holes!ha. 

OOO la la.. Brownies

    Hey Everyone..We are still getting over our colds here...but we aren't so bummed that we cant have some brownies..umm..or batter. Keegan loves to crack eggs..and is getting pretty good at it.He wanted them out of the fridge so i decided we should make some brownies if we are gonna use them!He is gonna be quite the cook, I think. He loves to cook and stir and all that! As you can see,we had a good time making them..even cobb was hoping keegan would drop some!

Back to VA!

We are finally back to Virginia and everything is settling back down. The tree still needs to be put away and all the Christmas stuff stored away too..but I just haven't gotten to it. I had a dentist apt today..bla..and my mouth is just now back to normal feeling. ;( Latham and Natasha found out they got Cali, so they will be moving in a few weeks and then we are still here....haha. ahh.. Anywho, we should know closer to Feb. where we will be going. There is no need in thinking about it and worrying yourself over it, so. Ronnie will head out to Cali for some training on Sunday for a little over a week. I am not upset at all..because this means ronnie is finally flying again!! But Keegan and I will just fill our time without him by going to the aquarium and stuff! We all have a yucky cold thanks to some friendly germs in Tn..ha. I seem to be the only one able to breath well at all today.
   On a brighter note--Keegan has learned to say "no" instead of his usual "uh uu" or shaking his head..This is lovely. He is a buger, but still very sweet. He has many words in his vocabulary, so at least no isn't the only thing i hear all day. He knows what he want though!ahh
   Also, Ronnie's brother,Brian got orders to Japan ..which is very exciting..and now we are hoping that we still get it too...his parents will have no choice but to visit!!Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday!
